Go Pro

"Protect" is one of my favorite underground artists in the scene right now, and wanted to shine some light on him by reviewing one of my personal favorites from him, and you should check it out if you're a fan of interesting electronic instrumentals and the new underground wave. "Go Pro" is a song off of Protects 2024 album "All On Me" and is a gem in the underground scene, the beat is definitely the highlight of the song with a "synthy" vibe and nicely spaced out layering throughout the beat with the the constant bass waving around, it's a really nice listen overall. The vocal performance is also pretty solid as well, this is more in-line with the flows that underground rappers have been going with more lately however I prefer some of the flows and cadence used, as I think Protect has some great beat selection that works well with his vocals. Overall I think it's important to find a nice sound that compliments your vocals and I believe is the key to stand out as an underground rapper these days.
